The Badrinath Temple also known as the Badrinarayan Temple, located in Uttarakhand's Badrinath town, is one of the Char Dhams (four important pilgrimages) in the state. There are four pilgrim-destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, collectively known as Char Dham. These pilgrimage centres draw large number of pilgrims each year, thus becoming the most important hubs of religious travel in the whole of Northern India. Badrinath is located at an elevation of around 3,100 m. Located in the Garhwal Himalayas, on the banks of the Alaknanda river, this sacred town lies between Nar and Narayana mountain ranges. The temple is believed to have been established by sage Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. With Lord Vishnu as its presiding deity, the temple remains open for six months in a year. The ideal time to visit Badrinath Temple is from May to October. The temple is closed from October/ November, and is reopened around April.

    Day 1 : Haridwar to Pipalkoti.

    Early morning drive to Pipalokti which is a beautifull town famous for its scenic beauty with big green mountains and terraced fields. You can easily see delightful snow capped mountains and green hills all around.

    Day 2 : Pipalkoti to Badrinath

    Early morning, after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath Dham. Check in at the hotel in Badrinath and then take a holy dip at Tapt Kund and visit Badrinath Temple for Darshan of Badri Vishal and Aarti in the evening. In the late afternoon you can also visit other interesting local sightseeing spots like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim Pul, Ganesha Cave, etc. Brahamakapal is significant for Pind Daan Shraddh of Pitras (ancestors). Overnight Stay at Hotel in Badrinath. Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most celebrated pilgrimages of India, this spots was once covered with wild berries thus the place got the name ‘Badri Van’. Mana Village is the last village of the country before Tibet. Bhim Pul is the a massive rock forming a natural brodgeover Saraswati river. Tapt Kund is the natural thermal springs on the bank of Alaknanda river, where it is customary to bathe before the darshan of Badrinath Dham.

    Day 3 : Badrinath to Pipalkoti

    Early morning, after breakfast drive to Pipalkoti via Joshimath. Visit Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Check into hotel at Pipalkoti for overnight stay.

    Day 4 : Pipalkoti to Haridwar

    Early morning, after breakfast drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh which is situated on banks of Ganges river and surrounded by Shivalik range of Himalayas on the three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard atonement and God appeared by the name of Hrishikesh and this area hence firth came to known as Rishikesh. Rishikesh has a number of famous Ashrams and Temples and other local sightseeing spots like Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Janki Setu, Neer Water Fall, Patna Waterfall, etc. Rishikesh is also famous for its adventure sports like Rafting, Camping, Bungee Jumping, etc. After local sightseeing drive to Haridwar.
